 What are the penalties for the breaches of   

Health and safety work act 1974.  

Computer Misuse Act 1990.  

Waste electrical and electronic equipment Directive 2012. 

Health and Safety at Work Act 1974: Breaches can result in unlimited fines, up to 2 years' imprisonment, and director disqualification. 

Computer Misuse Act 1990: Offenders face fines and up to life imprisonment, depending on the severity of the cybercrime. 

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2012: Non-compliance can lead to unlimited fines and up to 2 years’ imprisonment.

Under the DPA/GDPR, penalties include fines up to €20 million or 4% of global turnover and enforcement notices requiring corrective action. 

The maximum penalty for an infringement of the CD&PA (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) in the Magistrates' Court is a fine up to £5,000 and/or six months’ imprisonment. 

Part 1, Chapter 3 of the Digital Economy Act (DEA) 2017 covers the ownership of works taken from a website. 

Laws related to civil liberties include the Human Rights Act 1998, Equality Act 2010, and Data Protection Act 2018. 

A person's civil liberties can be infringed in cases of national security, public safety, prevention of crime, or to protect the rights of others.
