  Who Oversees the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000?   The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) oversees the implementation and enforcement of the FOIA in the UK. The ICO ensures public authorities comply with the Act, provides guidance, and handles complaints about non-compliance.   What Information Can Be Requested Under This Act?   The FOIA allows the public to request any recorded information held by public authorities, such as emails, reports, and meeting minutes.
